Preserving and Improving Cantonal Cyber Security

Qudits took over programme management of a running cantonal cybersecurity programme consisting of 10 projects to improve security across departments.

Situation

A replacement for the current programme management was needed: a new programme manager in tandem with a deputy/PMO. The programme had been running for 2 years and consists of about 10 projects.

Solution

Managing the programme (project portfolio), coordinating with project managers, monitoring progress, monitoring project budgets, cooperating with the external programme controlling, updating the status report (A4), organising and conducting steering committee meetings, maintaining the programme repository (SharePoint), handling inquiries.

Impact

Preserving and improving cantonal cyber security in the departments by closing security gaps, implementing emergency provision and security operations (1st line of defence), supporting the departments in implementing guidelines, and strengthening the 2nd line of defence through communication and awareness/e-learning.
