A cantonal administration previously relied on various independent monitoring solutions. Qudits implemented a central monitoring system using HERMES/SCRUM to enable end-to-end visibility.
Situation
A large number of stakeholders within the IT department and throughout the canton, as well as a large number of different requirements that must be checked for feasibility and approved after implementation.
Solution
Creation of a detailed project plan and efficient project structure (HERMES combined with SCRUM, accelerated sprints). Ongoing project controlling with special focus on task tracking. Development and provision of documentation templates. Regular check-ins with stakeholder groups.
Impact
Reduction in complexity of interfaces and responsibilities. License savings through replacement of existing monitoring systems. Continuous end-to-end monitoring now possible across the canton.
