The trusted enabler
“Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand.”Confucius
Reaching a goal is easy as long as the path is straight and free of obstacles. But the interesting and worthwhile goals can rarely be reached without obstacles, and the way there is often unknown. I see myself as a pathfinder who strengthens the team through trust, security and respect for every individual, enabling it to walk the path to the given goal independently — so that together we can create something meaningful for clients, users and society.
Background
Bringing people, technology and organizations together.
In over 20 years in the IT industry and other sectors, I have worked in various roles and areas of responsibility, allowing me to acquire a broad spectrum of IT knowledge and project management expertise. Based on my versatile experience, I am convinced that projects rarely fail for technical reasons, but rather for human ones. I therefore see my task as bringing all stakeholders together — people and technology, or companies and service providers. My passion is to get involved with PMI Switzerland and to support people who work in and with projects in their professional and personal development.

Workplace Migration
As project manager, I was responsible for migrating from Win XP to Win 7 as well as introducing new hardware for 2,500 employees of a telecommunications company. A self-developed semi-automatic migration process simplified end-user scheduling and controlled backup and recovery processes. Through consistent change management, I led the project, which spanned more than two years, to success.
Rescue: Account Migration
For compliance reasons, the client had to restrict the access rights of over 2,000 accounts (external partners) to its own IT infrastructure, which meant the existing user accounts had to be converted — without data loss or downtime. After taking over project management, I developed a reliable and stable conversion process together with the technical team, allowing us to win back the trust of the migration clients.
Rescue: MDM Migration
When I took over project management for the introduction of a new master data management system, it was close to failing for a second time due to a lack of internal support. Through proactive stakeholder communication, bringing the core team together in one office and introducing a Kanban board, the differing requirements could be prioritized and implemented on schedule.
